CCWN is focused on leadership and the advancement of women entrepreneurs and professionals. We are a full service women's organization offering our members and guests monthly networking events, business development training, and business coaching, all guided by the belief that truly successful women nurture their passion and careers through education and meaningful relationships.

The History

I'm Jacky Lopez, the Founder of the Central Coast Women's Network, Directory of Women in Business, and I'd like to take a moment to share with you how our Business Network came about.

I'm a serial entrepreneur, I graduated as a CPA in 1991, I taught myself web design and recently I became a social media strategist. I work from a home office and I love the flexibility and variety of my work, I do miss the opportunity to regularly connect with other business women. Those times when you can bounce around ideas, share challenges, have the support of your peers and find out what's going on in the larger marketplace are invaluable. And, just as importantly, provide a welcoming networking environment for business women in which to connect with, learn from and do business with each other.

The idea developed to create a connection point for working women that could provide a link to resources, workshops, speakers and presenters that could add value to the business and personal lives of entrepreneurs, professionals or anyone who decided to be their own boss.

Central Coast Women's Network is the result of that idea. Launched in March of 2008, we hold networking evenings and skill development workshops that have been attended by over 500 women. Our membership is diverse and growing everyday and I look forward to introducing you to the dynamic, successful, supportive and motivated women that are at the heart of our Network.
